Summer Village of South Baptiste -- Environmental Reserve License of Occupation
In the past, Baptiste Lake has dealt with issues associated with high water levels as a consequence of higher than normal precipitation throughout the year. Although water levels have somewhat receded, some residents are wondering about effects of high water levels on the shoreline and also the past effects of "Ice Ridge Push-ups" during the winter. Residents owning lakeshore properties may be interested in what (if anything) can be done to recover from damage and erosion.
